Rootech was founded by researchers from
KERI, Korea Electrotechnology
Research Institute. We continuously keep
up our technical development of power measuring
and control by young engineers for many
years of experiences in the field of power
measuring, digital signal processing, and
industrial communication.
Rootech
applies high speed DSP chips to all of the
products for power measuring with high accuracy.
Rapid technical development of digital processing
and communication causes the introduction
of information technology over the wide
range of industry.
Recently in the
field of power measurements, the power measuring
and control solution added by digital and
IT technology has been applied. The existing
analog measuring devices[voltage meter,
arm meter, power meter, and etc] basically
have a difficulty to implement client-oriented
power management system by both inaccuracy
of measuring and limitation of digital communication.
Development
of power measuring and control technology
applied by digital and IT technology makes
it possible to measure with high accuracy
and make an easy digital communication.

All of products are largely divided into
two groups, such as digital measuring and
control devices, softwares. Digital measuring
and control device group consists of digital
power meters for high accuracy measuring,
digital integrated protection relay for
protection of feeder and motor, and multi-moduled
remote terminal unit. Software group is
power management program, called PowerDX
which supports online monitoring and control
to interface all of the devices in the field
to customers.
