High Efficiency
High Efficiency
PowerDX does not define tags for each measurement item, and it defines map objects for each device.
Thus, it makes it easy to define relevant items for communication and register and manage devices.
This increases efficiency especially when there are many devices of the same type.
You can create master components you can reuse when configuring screens.
Thus, you can create many screens quickly and can also change the components on the screen at once, which increases efficiency.
PowerDX allows many engineers to work together to configure multiple screens through web browsers.
However, if a specific person is given the right to make changes to each task, it prevents other engineers from making changes.
As another convenient feature, PowerDX allows you to register alarms on the specific values of multiple devices at once.
Various Schedulers Available
Various Schedulers Available
PowerDX provides the scheduler function for the tasks performed at periodic intervals.
[User-Defined Actions] You can define actions that should be performed at specific time intervals (Output operations through DO/AO, reset configuration, popup notification, script execution, etc.)
[Interval Data] If you register devices to monitor in the scheduler in order to track their power usage per day/month/year user can see interval usage data in real time.
Daily/monthly/yearly power consumption data can be utilized by being recorded in the DB.
[Peak Data] When managing the maximum value(or minimum value) in the dataset on a daily/monthly/yearly basis you can easily track the data just by registering devices to monitor in the scheduler.
Daily/monthly/yearly peak values and peak times can be utilized by being recorded in the DB.
[Operation Data] You can use the scheduler to track the operation data of devices such as motors
(current state, latest startup time, latest stop time, accumulated operation time, the number of accumulative operations, etc.).
Accumulated daily/monthly/yearly operation times and the number of accumulative operations can be utilized by being recorded in the DB.
Report Generation Tool Available
Report Generation Tool Available
PowerDX provides the report generation tool that helps you easily create daily and monthly reports using the saved measurement data.
With the report generation tool, you can create a variety of analytical reports in Excel format.
Alarm Registration / Alarm Notifications
Alarm Registration / Alarm Notifications
Alarms can be registered based on various evaluation criteria(On, Off, High, Low, Equal, Changed, Decreased, Increased).
Conditional search makes it easier to register alarms for the specific values of multiple devices at once.
You can perform conditional search for generated alarms and can see the chart with a captured image of before and after the alarm is triggered.
When generating/resetting alarms, you can configure the DO(Digital Output) module to perform output operations.
You can send alarm notifications to the people selected as recipient groups via SMS messages, E-mail, and the mobile app of PowerDX.
Operator Group Selection
Operator Group Selection
When operating monitoring and control systems, there may be multiple groups of operators as shown below depending on the purpose of usage.
¡¤ High Voltage Management Team and Low Voltage Management Team
¡¤ Building Management Team
¡¤ Electrical Operations Team and Facilities Operations Team
In this case, if you configure servers separately according to the purpose of usage, it will cost a lot of money to build servers.
If all monitoring and control systems are managed under one project, it can also cause inconvenience resulting from different purposes of usage.
PowerDX allows you to specify different groups of users (work groups) based on one server and to configure different screens for each work group.
It also allows you to receive alarm notifications on a specific group of monitored devices and to print separate reports for them.
Creating User-Defined Queries
Creating User-Defined Queries
PowerDX automatically saves general measurement data such as voltage, current, and power, thus there is no need to create the DB or separate queries for storage.
However, you can save the data that need to be recorded and managed for other purposes by creating user-defined queries
¡¤ When searching and using the data stored in this system according to different conditions
¡¤ When using the data imported from other systems on a regular basis
¡¤ When transmitting the data of this system to other systems on a regular basis
¡¤ When creating a new table in this system and entering/searching the data
¡¤ When entering/searching the data generated outside of this system, such as production costs
Hourly Metering / Demand Control
Hourly Metering / Demand Control
[Hourly Metering] For efficient energy management, PowerDX provides the data measured per hour(Off-peak load / Mid-peak load/ On-peak load).
It allows you to check hourly metering data and metering rates for each season and to specify holidays.
If you only register the device you want to monitor, the aggregation function is activated automatically, and the data are recorded in the DB.
[Demand Control] PowerDX comes with the functional module associated with the demand control feature of Rootech¡¯s Digital Meter and provides components showing
demand charts and demand control status. When using the demand control module and components, it can increase energy efficiency.
Modbus TCP Service
Modbus TCP Service
There are various devices to monitor at industrial sites. Therefore, it is necessary to effectively monitor and
control them using dedicated monitoring systems as well as integrated monitoring systems.
Sharing the data collected by individual monitoring systems helps users make relevant decisions based on the data.
PowerDX enables quick connections to other systems and provides the Modbus gateway function via Modbus TCP,
an industrial communication protocol and can send/receive measurement data to/from other systems.
It allows for effective monitoring and control of field devices and greatly helps to improve productivity at industrial sites.
